Why? We have cover..Walker has played in net. OK then we only have one full back but Cancelo can play both right and left at the same time dummy.

I just don't understand how we let Zinchenko go without a replacement signed ..... just weird. Now clubs see City with 100m net profit on transfers this Summer so they will add to the cost of any left back we move for. Txiki has done well with transfers at City until this one. Not that I would of paid the 60m + but Zinchenko was really good last night, looked like a player we could do with.

I thought Zinchenko struggled defensively quite a bit last night against Ayew.I just don't understand how we let Zinchenko go without a replacement signed ..... just weird. No way should a team trying to win 4 trophies have their manager say, well at a push we can play Ake/Laporte/Cancelo etc there .... Pep has come out and said we are unbalanced squad wise ....we need 2 left backs and a left winger.

We do it fine without natural striker, two years in row in fact.
I think the idea of going into a season with only two senior fullbacks is a lot more dangerous than the false 9 conundrum..
