Marc Cucurella

I'm afraid I'm another Brighton fan. Marc Cucarella has made it known that if the opportunity arises he can't turn you guys down. What he hasn't made public is if the opportunity doesn't arise would he still be happy to stay at Brighton.

At the moment it seems like he will be happy to stay if he doesn't get the opportunity, but as of yet you guys haven't bid so his happiness hasn't really been tested.

I understand that you guys have a valuation that might seem fair when it comes down to market value, but as we don't want to or need to sell (part of needing to sell is about player happiness) you have to go above it.

I think if you want him you will get him, but I also think that if you don't pay a lot of money then he will stay with us for another season.
Very fair summation.

This isn't City tax. Its we don't want to sell tax. Whoever comes in for him will be met with this valuation.

As I said we don't want to sell. If you walk away this summer then we don't loose (unless Cucrellas attitude changes).
For Cucurella it’s like staying in a relationship with Bella Emberg when Miss World has made it known she wants you. No offense.

In the 5 posts that you have made on this thread , you have written cucurella 3 times. Each time you have spelt it different and each time you have spelt it wrong.

1 - Cucarella
2 - Cucuraella
3 - Cucrellas
I think you are just a wum, easing yourself in.

Ironically Bella Emberg was a Brightonian. Maybe Cucurella thinks Emberg has bags of personality and he loves her as a person rather than just going by her looks, therefore its not as easy to just walk away and as he believes in himself he is willing to give her more time.

Like most of the Brighton ‘fans’ I know. It’s quite likely you are an ex ‘red’ such is the plastic nature of the fan base since the promotion to the premier league.
Can i just ask why you think Brighton fans are plastic. Before promotion we were selling out the ground before promotion with a season ticket waiting list.

If you are going to add before the new stadium we were only getting 9,000 attendances, thats because the Withdean only held that much.

Groundsharing at Gillingham and 10 years at Withdean would lose most clubs generations of new fans, but like all fan bases im sure you will find some supporters will also follow other teams.

Genuine question. I understand that BHA's problem is to have someone as back-up. You don't want to find yourselves in the coming season with nobody to properly fill the role of left back. The more so in that as I understand it Brown and Potter have (legitimate) ambitions to make it into the Europa league, if not this season then in the next two. Do you in fact have that person as a plausible option, either from your academy, or the first-team squad? And if not, who would Brighton be looking round at, with the considerable sum that you would be holding from Cucurella's transfer?

There’s no-one obvious right now (certainly not anywhere near Cucu’s level) and in terms of identifying a replacement buy, our recruitment team tend to go a bit left field - our usual MO is to announce the signing of someone few of us have heard of before any serious rumours have gathered any pace. Bloom (Brown?) hasn’t explicitly stated any European ambitions as far as I know but his aim is for us to be a top half team (consistently).

Cucurella played as a wing back, left back in a back 4 and left CB in a back 3 during last season. Replacing someone that versatile (he hadn’t been that versatile before coming to us apparently) will take some doing.

edit - could be something in this perhaps https://www.nottinghamforest.news/2...ngham-forest-and-brighton-chase-manu-sanchez/

I suggest you turn your attentions elsewhere. BHA will have a higher valuation on his head than MCFCs planned price. We will only sell if it is in our interest, not Pep’s.
That’s told us then. Now get back to booing your players and manager, and half filling your tiny ground.

As per already stated, there is possible players in the accademy, but they wont be ready yet. We do have Solly March who could play LWB but hes more right sided.

At the moment this is all speculation as to your intrest in Cucu, someone tweeted as being ITK, this was picked up by variouse sports correspondants and the media and they retweered it word for word.

The only person i would trust from a Brighton side for info is Andy Naylor hes the albion correspondant, last tweet on this was no bid from City, he only puts out the info the club tell him he can publish. Typical Brighton they sacked 3 groundzman a few years ago for leaking information.

As for how much is Cucu worth, well i believe Bloom will have 2 figures being that hes a gambler and nathamatician, they will be current market value plus how much he is worth to the Albion, bid inbetween those 2 prices and a deal is likely to be done.
