It sounds like he is being spoken about as the next England manager, so we could be a bad world cup away from loosing him this season.Brighton looks like a well run club to be fair. But the truth is, like so many teams that can really only dream of competing in the top 4 (or maybe 6) they will always be a bad card away from a relegation battle.
The good card they drew was Graham Potter. I am a huge admirer of his, but unfortunately for Brighton fans, one of the top teams will probably be too and will snag him before many more seasons are done.
Haven’t you got somewhere else you’d rather be?It sounds like he is being spoken about as the next England manager, so we could be a bad world cup away from loosing him this season.
We have no intentions of competing in top 4/6 our aim is to establish ourselves as top 10. We need players like Cucurella to pass through so we can achieve this, but that doesn't mean he has to go at the first opportunity he gets.
Players like Ben White and Yves Bissouma had been here a few years and we had cover already within the club so we won't miss them as much as some people think. With Cucurella we don't have that luxury.
You seem to forget that fullbacks have a natural top value, it’s not like a striker. Bloom will know that we aren’t going to pay anything other than circa £50mil so if he’s setting his stall out asking for more then at end of day no one is ever going to pay it and he runs risk of player not being happy and maybe he has a bad season and can’t sell him for that in future. It sounds like he is being spoken about as the next England manager, so we could be a bad world cup away from loosing him this season.

He has a face that may suggest many people have done so already.Aldridge is very high up a list of people that i want to stand on their windpipe! Such a wanker!

Yes I don’t think Cucurella will go mental just because he misses out on his move, I’m sure he will be fine.We will want this sorted out quickly, as would you. If there has been a bid in the last few hours/ day then we will give you an answer quickly, but if it doesn't meet our evaluation (or very close) i don't think we would give you a hint what our valuation is. If you walk away then until Cucurella starts to play up (there really isn't any sign of that) we will be happy.
What is interesting is that although Cucurella has stated that he couldn't turn you lot down, that doesn't mean he would be unhappy to stay Brighton like a lot of people on here seem to think. He is our player, we see him every day, and we are the only club in the country to have a full time mental health and wellbeing department. We are therefore well equipped to keep an eye on his happines.
