what's you point ? he has a budget but his main job is identifying players and persuading them to join, which it sounds like he did with Cucerella. It’s a lazy statement thrown out there by our more entitled fans, who seem to think negotiation is nothing more than asking a selling club how much money they want - and then paying it immediately.
There are plenty of examples over the years of Txiki negotiating very good deals with no RC - Phillips this very summer would be a great example - or convincing clubs to accept less than the RC, of which Dias is a recent example.
The fact is he walks away from deals which fans have got themselves very invested in, and that causes frustration - so they lash out and claim he’s incapable of closing a deal.

I mean to respond the user your replying for, he implies that Txixi is suck at his job to get player at much cheaper price which is very wrong for him to judge Txixi like that.
