Real will play over 50 games next season. Jese, Isco, Ronaldo, Bale, Reus, Benzema might not even be enough players to keep fresh.

Yes, but the way I look at it Ancelotti usually plays with 4 attack minded players at a time. When I say attack minded players I would consider Jese, Isco, Ronaldo, Bale, James, and Benzema as attack minded players. In the 433, the front 3 are attacking players and 1 of the 3 midfielders shuffles back and forth between midfield and attack. This season it has been either Isco or James and last season it was Di Maria.
Looking at it this way there are 4 spots for 6 players, which I think is about right to deal with injuries and squad rotation.

Talk of a 30M bid for bony makes me think, couldn't we test the waters with a similar bid. I accept that Dortmund are unlikely to sell, I also accept that Reus is likely to leave for Real, but it would be strange if we didn't offer a 50% markup on his release clause now, given that that happens to be the most rumored price for bony (who no doubt is a very good player)

We could offer £50m for Reus this month but I still don't see Reus leaving in January.
Dortmund won't sell because they are arguably in a relegation battle, and Reus won't leave his boyhood club only to see them potentially relegated.
Reus is going to be the name of the summer and whoever gets him will be getting one of the bargains of the decade with his buyout being €25m.

Bundesliga is known for transfers being made in January and players to move in the summer. If we could make a deal for him, leaving him there til the end of the season would be good enough. But I doubt we can beat Madrid for anyone these days, we can't pay stupid money now and Madrid are too hot team these days, everyone wants to play in that team full of stars.
Won't be surprised if Reus has or is close to making a decision on his future but is being a lot smarter than Gotze was about it. I could easily see him going to RM as much as I do see him at Bayern, but I guess time will tell...
