sam lee saying that we dont want verratti either!!
like i said, he did allude to the fact that Jourgihno changed his mind " a liitle late"
now its see what we have to go with ( not enough imho) and if it isnt right we will have a target lined up ( it would be shocking if we didnt have another option if we decided that was needed)
maybe it was the other young lad he was tslking about?
Rocket Science.sam lee saying that we dont want verratti either!!
I think it’s clear we’re going with what we have.
We seem reluctant to compete in the inflated market and as much as a lot of City fans are backing the clubs decision.
It’s not that far off Ferguson’s no value in the market.
I’m not complaining the club have invested ALOT over the last 10 years.
However, I do hope the club will continue to invest significantly in player recruitment in future windows. I believe it to be an important part of staying at the top!
If Verratti was an option at £80 million, than surely we would normally have brought him in!

I worry that we’ve done this before - we win the title get into a dominant position and then stand still and let others catch up. We have Pep on loan for another 3 or 4 seasons- we need to make the best of him - we will never have this unique opportunity again. If City are ever gonna win the CL it’ll be in the next 3 seasons - so we need to give Pep the best squad we can. We have an amazing squad but I just think we could added another midfielder this season. I still think we’ll win the league but if we don’t there will be some regret that we didn’t strengthen a little more.
Luiz? Ah, cool. Yes, he's applied for a wp, don't fancy his chances to be honest. Loan looking likely.
