Funny I was just writing a reply to Sam's post which mentions that. I accept that a lot of the continental players we have will want to return to the continent at some point in their career. What I object to, is the constant discourse from both player and agent that they will return to Italy. Raiola came out and said a couple of months ago that Balo would see out this contract and then go home. That's not the way to endear yourself to the club or it's supporters. Married to the fact that if the manager is sacked tomorrow, then it's likely the player will immediately want to go, then yes it does stick in my throat a little.

Don't get me wrong, i can see why people look at it that way but i look at it as an asset and investment for the club.

It's amazing that people think using the search function effectively is somehow time consuming.

In fact, now I think about it:

1. Click on profile button.
2. Click on find all posts by this user.
3. Type search term and press enter.

Presuming instant page load (*cough*) this must take..what? 7 or 8 seconds?

Click on a page. Forum automatically takes you to the post. Read relevant bit. Copy and paste link.

Depending on the size of the post, that takes *perhaps* 15 seconds as the bits you are interested in are already highlighted.

All in all, it takes around 30 seconds to do.

If you are taking the piss out of somehow for having 30 out of a possible 86,400 seconds available in a day then you should probably also wonder how a man this busy can accumulate nearly 17,000 posts on an internet forum at an average of 15 posts per day.

I don't quite know what to say to that. I suppose a 'cool' will have to do.

Totally agree.
Pretty sure he went to Barca at the same time Shearer went to Newcastle. That's when he caught my eye. Phenomenal player and as you say, if Balotelli is just half as good we will have an out and out superstar on our hands.

I don't know whether to feel sorry for you or flattered that you went to that trouble. Well done though, and it's not the first time you've done this.

Balotelli has a lot to do before he deserves the status many have given him already, that;s my opinion and I know i'm not alone in that. Performances like last night highlight what he can do, and if he does that more and more then i'll gladly relax my views on him. We all know though that with every performance like last night, there is a little 'what will he do next' niggling away in the background. Last night he looked like all he wanted to do was show his talent, and if he does that more and more well all the better for us and him.

I've made my mind up by the way. I feel flattered.
