Roberto fined him 250,000, apparently.
Mancini seemed pretty annoyed about it. In the post-match interviews he says something about if Mario had slept he would have taken some of those chances

Mario could be in trouble again

Not read the whole thread but didn't want to start a new one. The boy is starting to piss me off with these silly antics - particularly at this stage of the season. Wonderful talent but head away with the fairies. I know he's only young but time to get a grip and grow the fuck up Mario.

Totally agree. He doesnt know how lucky he is.

He missed two chances on Satuday that he should have buried and staying out past 3am less than 36 hours before the game is stupid

Mario needs to start playing for the club, the players and the fans, not for Mario Balotelli.

This, unfortunately it seems a step to far for him.
why does he ? what difference to it make to you me or the club what his motivation is as long as he produces the goods ? football isnt a perfect environment where every player plays for the club they love and love all the fans they play for if he scored 30 goals next season and only did it because he wanted to prove to himself he could thats fine by me .

Re: Mario could be in trouble again

I get your point if he goes onto get 30 goals in a season just to prove to himself he can.

But, there's a bigger picture to look at surely. Is he ever going to amass 30 goals in a season when he's constantly getting himself on the wrong side of Mancini? Very doubtful. Which is a shame because we all know just how good a player he is.

The fact is, if he were to play for United, Arsenal, Chelsea etc, City fans would be labelling him a complete and utter plank and that they were glad he wasn't wearing the blue shirt. Maybe some City fans are just blinded by the fact he is a City player so he can do no wrong when in reality, his stupidness is preventing him from scoring much more than he has so far and that if he was to actually pull his finger out of his arse for once, he could go on to be one of the worlds best IMO.

Just because it's 'Mario' shouldn't excuse him for acting the prized clown on one to many occasion. If any of Hart, Silva, Aguero, Yaya started going out on the pop, smoking, breaking curfews and whatever else it is he has done, would his 'backers' be as 'acceptable' as they seem to be when Mario does it?
