Even if Mario scored 40 goals a season,some on here would still moan like fuck that he would have scored 50 if he had gone straight to bed after Emmerdale with a cup of Horlicks.

Now that Mario's been fined two weeks wages and Mancini has once again laid into him publicly, I hope those people who believe Mancini has the best interest of City and Balo at heart will heed Roberto's words and stop defending every move the player makes just because he's some sort of cult hero.

Not really commented on his performance against Bolton, but by his standards he was very poor and missed chances you would normally bank your house on him scoring. The fact this came after him breaking a club curfew has only exasperated a bad situation for him already. What's the betting that Dzeko and Aguero start against Swansea and Mario is 'rested' ....

I'm pretty certain you will start with Aguero up top. Swansea's style of play will fit right in your hands so I imagine it will be a very open game where Aguero can just play on the last line of defence and wait for Silva to slip him a few through balls.

Im starting to tire of Mario's attitude now too. It was different to start with and some things i just shrugged and thought, "Thats Mario".

But after the weekends article and time to think about it, im getting a bit sick and tired of his, me, me, me attitude. Yes, there is no doubt he could become world class, but including Saturday, he's started 9 league games for us. Thats absolutely pathetic. His ill discipline, coupled with his immaturity is becoming a major factor on and off the pitch.

Sorry Mario, but you are becoming a bellend.

Some people would actually play for this club for nothing and do everything we are told to do. Mario on the other hand is starting to take the piss, and he needs to curb it.

Dont get me wrong, i still love this guy, i just love my club and the people who respect it more.

Not quite true.

I think people can see a hugely gifted individual who seems intent on wasting his talent - just like Gazza, Ireland and Johnson to name just a few before him, and therein lies the problem.

Mario can be one of greatest individual players ever. However has he got the brains and discipline to be able to do it? There will come a point where natural instinct is not enough.

At the moment, I can see him being offloaded in the summer. Hope he settles down and that I am wrong.

Via Tunnel cam,Mario certainly looked like he had other things on his mind as he made his way off the pitch,his head was down and he appeared really unhappy.

I'm sure it was because he was as disappointed as most of us with his below par performance,and the fact he had fooked up again the previous night.....not a nice sight but,if i'm right,it shows he does care which,in the past,is something i've been unconvinced of.....

On a positive however,while he is still doing some of the silly stuff,in the main,and certainly on the pitch,he is definitely maturing,his discipline and self control have improved immeasurably.

I note Mancini reckons marriage would do him good.... Well Bacon chops always advocated such for his lot and it didn't do much harm.......

mario, oh mario..... he's like the really dirty girl who you keep going back to despite the knowledge that she'll just fuck you off next week for someone else, then come back with those flirty eyes the week after....etc.

so - do we keep it up, or start to go steady with that slightly more reliable, slightly more plain girl who is very smart but anything more than the missionary position is out of bounds.....
