Will he improve the squad? Will he bring a different quality to the squad?

Gomez is a very good striker and we'd be very lucky if we got him, he knows where the net is and his hold up play is outstanding. I've seen him a few times for Stuttgart and he's a class act, i said a couple of weeks ago we should forget about RSC and pay the extra for Gomez

As for people saying 'he looked sh*te in the euro's - Correct he did but it was a handful of games, on the whole for his club he has been outstanding for the past couple of seasons

Exactly mate, you can't form an opinion based on a few international games but you can form an opinion on a few seasons of club football where he has shown he's a top striker. Forget RSC go and get Gomez

Tentative reports coming out of Germany have linked Stuttgart striker Mario Gomez with a move to Manchester City. If nothing else it should provide us with some 'Super Mario' headlines...

now this guy would be a great target man an would get his fair share of goals. not sure how much he would cost but would rather have gomez than rsc.
