A forum is all about opinions etc.....i believe if Gomez signed for us, it would only take a couple of games and everyone would be saying we've bought a 'Clone of Jo'.
I may be in a minority but i said when we bought Benji...he was shite and it was a panic buy and only ONE person agreed with me,and (unfortunately,as i want us to do well!) im just as (un)convinced about Gomez.

well I know munich only said last week they wanted him but coudnt afford him. arsenal and milan were chasing him last year too. anyway each to their rown and all that...

Not everyone is saying he is 'shite' ......but some people 'have the opinion' that he does not have the game to fit in and be successful in our side.

I don't think Jo is shite....but i don't think his game suits the teams one bit.

The strongest area of our team this season is the amount of goals scored.....so basing opinions on the one thing we don't lack is daft.
One of our biggest problems is the lack of retaining possession up front...and Gomez will not improve that problem one bit.

seen him play for germany a few times and he never really impressed, could turn out to be a more expensive german version of corradi
 
Never seen him play so i wouldn't be able to comment on him, but his record over the past 2 seasons is outstanding
