You might have a point there. But it's not Mancini or Balotelli for that matter that I really dislike, it's their relationship which is something that I've never witnessed before in my life.

It's outright strange, and IMO does not belong in professional football.
I do have respect for them both as player/manager. Clear?
Mancini discovered and signed Mario at the age of 15 or 16...It's no surprise that they have a relationship.

What is strange about their relationship? All I see here is a bitter Dzeko fan.

Nah mate - just leave Dzeko out of this. Nothing to do with the lad. I have my reservations about Balotelli and I dont really see what all the fuss is about - which is what i expressed.

Furthermore I dislike all the shoulder padding between him and RM when some other players dont get the same treatment.

I know RM "discovered" Mario, but he is not Mario's personnal manager he is manager of MCFC.
He's wants to create a dynasty and he wants Mario play his part.

So please tell me exactly what about their relationship bothers you?

And what is this shoulder padding (patting?) you're talking about?

What treatment does he get that the "other players" (dzeko ;-) ) don't get?

Don't see what all the fuss is about? Yeah I feel the same about Edin tbh.

If any other player would be so irresponsible and get ejected/suspended so many times in a year, in such crucial times of a year, for stupidest shit imaginable - they would not get NEAR the first team.

RM punished AJ (and Dzeko for that matter) for getting pissed of for being substituted. This guy does that + tons more ON REGULAR BASIS and Mancini just looks the other way in majority of cases.

If that's not special treatment dont know what is. And you know it.

-- Fri Feb 17, 2012 4:05 pm --

It was worth posting something anti-balotelli just to witness all the instant personnal attacks by "supermario" bandwagon members :-) (see "pudge" et. all)

Just goes to show the type of people who approve his behavior...bunch of insecure, teenage C.U.N.T.S. acting just like him. Getting all personnal. Internet warriors.

:-)

Now I will leave you alone with your idol.
The irony in that post is astounding!

-- Fri Feb 17, 2012 2:13 pm --

The only internet warrior here is you pal. I've been having a look a the last few pages of this and have already banned one user. You're getting very close as well.
Think you pressed the wrong button PB, I'm still here sorry.

Balotelli will become a fantastic player for us only if he starts to get the protection he should be getting for such a YOUNG player, some of the antics from people involved in football in this country has been bordering on an agenda, let's take a look shall we, you have a pundit ex international with an obsession who's father walks on water according to the media, making juvenile statements about him on tv quiz shows, the same guy who was in the etihad when the so called stamp on saint Parker occurred who's then said father who just happened to be the opposing manager who then comes out with a outburst bordering on slander, he does it every week he does it every week, he sounded like the ex butcher off coronation st, then you have all these 1st tackle bookings when some of the previous successive tackles by other players were completely unpunished, then you have the press who without ballo would be absolutely screwed I mean who could these guys talk about, Parker carrick lampard all sleeping tablet material, I would hate ballo to leave and say a couple of years time come back and sign for united or whoever, but bet your bottom dollar if he did you would not see this shit your seeing him get now, we have to keep this guy, he is on the edge of being one of the best football entertainers in Europe.

Stop talking out of your arse. This is such bollocks. I'm not even sure where to begin.

Irresponsible? Bar the polarizing 'Parker' incident, when has he been irresponsible this year?

Suspended too many times? He's been suspended twice. The bollocks sending off at Anfield, and the trial by media incident involving Parker. Kompany has been suspended the same number of times this season.

"They would not get near the first team"?? I'm glad you know Mancini very well....

Mancini has had to put up with more of Tevez' shit than Mario. That is certain.

How was AJ punished?? Dzeko wasn't just angry because he was substituted. He was throwing a little hissy bitch fit on the bench and having a right go at Mancini. IF you believe Tevez' story, we can conjecture that the Munich incident wouldn't have happened if Dzeko hadn't riled Mancini up...But that's if you believe Carlos, of course. And Dzeko wasn't even punished..

"He does that + tons more ON REGULAR BASIS and Mancini just looks the other way in majority of cases"
↑ You're talking out of your arse again. What exactly is the "that" that he does? What is the tons more? On a regular basis as well? Fuck me...

Krystle clear to me mate.

I understand this is a football forum for discussion and all that, but I really expected the wheat to be separated from the chaff in this thread at this point. I would have guessed 20 pages and it would have fizzled out.

My take.

Balo brings attention, good, bad, whatever. But because of him, people that normally wouldn't pay attention, do now. In my opinion he helps grow the brand, makes people talk about us. As a yank, I spend a lot of time around people that have hardly any clue about european football, but because of Balotelli they know who city are now, isn't that what we are trying to do?

Balotelli > Dzeko, anyday of the week, twice on sundays.

You support Mario?

Bold part - you meant when he is available ?

Turns out to be another Mario worship thread (same pundits.. pudge, didactic, jumanji, pominoz, etc.). BTW he was shit yesterday though, flop of the match...
Yes Balotelli was shit yesterday. He ONLY helped score the first goal, to bring us back to LEVEL terms and also gave us that crucial AWAY goal.

Wait a minute, am I missing something? Are we not allowed to be fans of both Balotelli AND Dzeko coz this is the impression I'm getting reading these last few pages!

Nope, sorry, none of that positive thinking here. You have to think one is shit. It's the way things work around here. You don't want to mess with the way things work do you?

You seem to be missing the point that every manager in the world, every respectable pundit and those who hand awards out have realised. Balotelli is not a NORMAL player. Your affections for Dzeko will not let this simple point sink in. Balotelli is a prodigy an enigma he has the ability to become one of greatest players EVER. Dzeko is a good footballer, Balotelli is a GREAT footballer. No amount of national pride or promotion from Bosnians or romantic delusions will change this fact.

-- Fri Feb 17, 2012 3:44 pm --

Oh...okay.
Actually I might take it one step further.
They're both shit and Aguero is the best. I love Aguero and am going to start a worship thread for him so nur!

In response to the OP.

No. It isn't time to say goodbye to Mario. Last night he wasn't great, but that was his first match back after 5-6 weeks out.
