apparentely someones punched him for being a dick.

But why? He's only 21 FFS, He had a hard childhood, He shags birds, he gives money away......
And he lets our great club down in far too many ways

-- Mon Apr 09, 2012 10:34 am --

If anything like this has gone on the blame will 100% be on Mancini. Very disappointed with his public management of Balotelli.

I hate to use this as a reference point but just look at baconface even today. The whole fucking world saw that Young dived today for that penalty yet in his post match interview, baconface was going on about how Derry's minimal contact unbalanced the diving **** and caused him to go down. I've always trusted Mancini to know exactly how to manage Balotelli as he's worked with him before but recently his only tactic seems to be having a go at him in the media. It might still work but it just seems odd.
Its a refreshing change (with the exception of Mick McCarthy) to hear a manager telling it as it is rather than always either saying "i didnt see anything" or defending the indefencable - a bit of honesty might rub off on Ballo because its a long time since he has given us an honest performance

Wouldn't be surprised ...

but i find it hard to put all the blame for todays wash out solely at Balotellis door .... it was almost full time when he was dismissed , and even though he'd done little , and had minimal impact , so had a few others ..... we had three or four stars out there who gave good accounts of themselves , but others , once again , clearly let themselves down.
yes but balo was lucky, very lucky to have made that far into the match,he should have walked way earlier, the boy is a fool

twitter is filled with rumours that kompany "battered" balotelli..

I hope its not true..no excuse for that.

I hope its true, having the shite kicked out of ya when youre a cocky little bellend does you the world of good in the long run - character building....... Brings a bit of reality to your world.....

Is that the 'inside' world that you are referring to????

Mario is a good player, but he brings too much disruption for city to advance, he isnt a team player yet, and he doesnt look as if he will learn soon....

City have the money, they have the players, Now though the top most priority is getting a good team atmosphere in the dressing room. The players have got to work for the club.,. Unfortunately Mario doesnt (nor Tevez), get rid and play someone who loves the club.

cba reading through the whole thread. did komps hit him? or anyone else?

tbh hope they did.

my ex-Arsenal playing mate called me on the telephone to tell me this story and I quizzed him on it because I felt it unlikely, so I thought I'd post it in here because someone else would surely know if there was a thread of anything in it...

I think it's safe to say that he isn't in hospital, and he's not been laid out or got a broken cheek bone, although I bet the dressing room wasn't a pleasant place to be.

I do think Stan Collymore and a lot of the media have overdone things quite a bit, and players like Raphael and Song go about doing all kinds of stuff in a game on a regular basis that Mario can't (not excusing his Kiev tackle or his foot on Song today) but anyway.

He makes mistakes, he's young, he can improve - but he's running out of chances, and today he certainly picked his moment to flame out again.

Oh Mario...

A sensible view at last. the way the press have hounded Mario this year, if he was in hospital or even had a mark on his face, it would be all over the on line newspapers. I feel that we are giving these rumours some life

Ask yourself one question

If balo played for them would he be treated the same?

Would he fuck.

Not sure he is worth the hassle long term but I tell you what the club, the fans and the owners need to support the lad even more because yet again we are subject to the big red influenced media witchunt

His tackle was not the best but was identical to the one Song carried out in the 2nd half which has mysteriously disappeared in to the ether

Bang on the money mate, i think its f'kin disgraceful that City fans are joining in with the witchhunt.

People have very short memories, rooneys granny shaggin antics, paying for a high class escort while his wife is pregnant, smoking and p*ssin in public, the forearm smash against wigan, swearing down the camera, two sendings off against England, demanding a move away from the sty, but where's the furore demanding he be got rid of ?

Yes its difficult to defend some of his actions particularly on the pitch but only city would get rid of a player of his class and long term potential. This is where we need to take him out of the limelight.

In my opinion we should keep him and use him sporadically and give him time to grow up and mature because despite his actions the stats prove we have a fantastic player on our hands.

Were it not for ffp and we could simply ship him out and spend tens of millions on a world class replacement then i would differ but that is simply not the case so we have to persevere and let the furore die down.

This means nothing. There were bound to be raised voices and, I hope, a huge argument on what went wrong. Anything else would indicate that players don't care. So....they're damned if they do and damned if they don't.

This influential groundsman has not said anyone was punched...just that it 'kicked off' in the dressing room i.e. he heard the arguments after a disappointing result. Believe this and you'll believe anything

-- Mon Apr 09, 2012 10:53 am --

Knee jerk reactions all round. However, fans are disappointed because we were so close to winning this league with ease. Let's not forget we are the start of a long journey. It started 2 years ago and since then we have won the FA cup, qualified for the Champs league twice, been top of the league for most of this season. This is a great time to be a City fan and will be for years to come. Rags journey started 30 years ago and is coming to an end - and they know it

Either way, what is a club employee throwing it all over Twatter for?

Yes Balotelli is a fucking liability at times, but we have to stick with him. I can't remember the Rags wanting to get rid of Tranny when he was shite and diving all over the place? Anyone remember the cheating **** diving every fucking game - but the Rags stuck with him and sorted it out. Maybe we, and I mean the fans, could learn something from them?

Stick with Balotelli!!! You must be joking. What if we could have someone who could score the same amount of goals and stay on the pitch working hard for the team? Still stick with Balotelli?

Dead right ! In 20 years time City fans will see that this was just the start of a long and amazing journey. Most on here seem to think it is the end of a journey !

I won't be around that long to see it but young Blues have got an amazing future. Ther'll be more upsets on the way but the future is so Blue many will be amazed at some of these threads in time.
