mario

Balotelli won't sustain the start he had last night with his new team - we all know that. Come the end of the season he'll be up to his usual tricks:
Couldn't give a fuck when playing
arguing with his manager and team mates
Get yellow and red cards at the worst possible time for the team.
Being ill with a 'virus'
etc
etc
etc

The bloke is a fucking wastrel - if he hadn't pitched up at City we would have won the league by a canter last season and we would be much better off by at least 4 points this season (3 of those points would have been against the scum at our place).

Fair play to Mario, he never forced his way out of the club by refusing to play
Well, technically, you're correct, however,I would suggest he made his feelings known and left us without much choice, thankfully a great deal was secured.

hope so, big mistake letting him go

Quite the contrary; brilliant piece of business from the executives to sell him now, at that price.

Yep. In a years time people will be amazed that we got so much for him

What happens in the future is irrelevant.
he didn't perform for us. He did nothing to justify the big wage he was on and no one (bar a very biased Mancini) saw anything in Mario suggesting he would turn around his poor performances and attitude.

We made a very good deal, now. We sold a player, made money on the deal, and we move on. I hope he becomes Italy's best striker, I really do. But if he does so, it's because he is now in an environment which suits him much better then the one we, Manchester, the UK could offer him.

But I doubt he will become "as good as Ronalod and Messi". But if he really gives his all for many many years, and he has a good share of luck in his career, - he could be as good as Inzaghi. Maybe.

I always hoped Balo would do well in a sky blue shirt. But it just didn't work out, and moving on was in everybody's best interests, as his rare flashes of brilliance were too infrequent. Giving a youngster a silly nickname like Super-Mario is never a good idea. Selling him last week for that price was good business. For most of this season the team had become a Mario-Free zone. I was hoping that this forum might now become a Mario-Free zone.
Kinda hoping the forum would become a Jose-Free zone too.

Re: Balotelli

Oh dear Mario, what has he gone back to !!! Berlusconi's brothers comments so soon after the move are worrying to say the least, never mind the reaction of his audience and colleagues. (Search the key points if you are unaware of the comment but needless to say its racist as fuck ! )

Feel free to enlighten.

I've googled the key points and I'm getting nothing.

Selling him for £19.5million six months after rejecting 40million euros is pretty naff business in my opinion

Too many 'fans' turned on him, why should he give a fck. The refs and media made life impossible for him and loads of supporters bought it hook line and sinker. He laid on Kuns goal for Christ sake.
Happy for him, hope we get to see him be the player Bobby always knew he could be.

Go Mario, stick it to the haters. He has not slagged off the club or our supporters. He has helped put our club on the world map.

Careful mate. There's some top blues on here that'll disagree with you in the strongest possible terms. Fuck me, they might post an obscure fucking music video in order to make themselves look all "à la mode" and clever.

Won't change the fact though that we've just given away one of the most promising young footballers in the world for a rock bottom price to a European rival whilst at the same time keeping Edin "mobile as a lump of reinforced fucking concrete" Dzeko. That decision alone has already cost us the title yesterday.

This week will go down in history as the week the dream began to end, the week our club and the Colin Schindler wing of its fanbase first allowed the xenophobic, outright racist uk media pick our squad.

Brilliant.

If that was an actual offer, and not just one of many many non-backed up rumours, then yes it would have been extremely stupid not to accept it. Our ex3ecutives are not stupid thus I think it's just made up mumbo jumbo.

But if we actually got that offer from PSG, Mancini must have threatened to quit or something were we to accept it. And if that happened, I don't think our owner and board is too happy about it now.

But still, that potential super offer does in no way change the facts regarding the actual transfer which just took place. We couldn't have gotten 40mil for him now, and I doubt we would have gotten 25mil for him this summer.
