But.. but it's only Malta/they're mostly penalties/he doesn't look arsed when he's not got the ball/the goals will dry up when he gets bored..

We've sold a solid gold player who should have been managed to greatness by us.

We failed and will bitterly regret it.

He failed us bud if anything, as seen in the contrast in his performances and general attitude on the field.

Possibly Bob didn't get the best out of him but it was no reason to be so lazy even in training you get dropped from the squad.
Basically it was really of his own making.

he did just fine! its not his fault we have 3 other world class strikers in the team.

the dribbling style of aguero and tevez fits our play style more

The only person who failed was Mancini as he failed to manage/control him. There was no other choice but to sell him after he decided that he didn't want to be here anymore.

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!!!! are you still buying this lie and misconception of mario being lazy and not interested - that is the story the media has sold to you from the day the guy landed on english soil and it seems as always we are ready to feast on the xcrement from the bowels of the media.

The bottom line is that we (the fans) failed mario- we did not give him the support and encouragement and did not forge a conscious attempt the expose or bring to light the smear campaign launched by the media. Instead we succumbed to the anti balotelli mentality and cynicism.

The club failed him by once again showing the instrinsic lack of wisdom ( in the transfer market) by selling a 21 year old player that clearly has a lot of maturity and development in front of him. The club also failed him by having an environment that is not condusive for him to develop properly - he was not given enough games to develop comfort, confidence and momentum.

England failed him by not accepting him in the first place.

If he wanted to stay here, he would have stayed it's simple. Can't really blame him for leaving City as it didnt work out for both parties.

Hit the nail on the head there.

It's not our fault he couldn't be arsed putting in a shift for 90% of the time he was here. He's a Milan fan so of course he's going to try harder for them
