Mark Hughes has alot to answer for.

Hughes had a game plan and stuck to it which got us in to a very strong position for the second half of the season

Mancini has a game plan, changes it after 5 minutes, changes it again and then another couple of times before half time. Then reassesses the situation, changes the plan, makes a sub or two, changes it and then wonders why the players are arguing between themselves on the pitch, pointing to one another as to where they're supposed to be for set pieces and are generally out of position in attack

Managing the Italian way in the English league just won't cut the mustard

When we are winning regularly that will become a valid point. At the moment what we are playing is anything but 'winning football'.

We've got one of the best records in the league since Mancini took over.

Dont let facts get in the way of a good put down!!

Take into account Evertons recent form it was no disgrace losing at their place... therefore unlike Hughes's final games Mancini has done really well with an alien squad - the worst result was defeat atHull... who held and were unlucky not to beat Chelski.

Give the guy a break.

^^^^^^^ I agree with this and some may wonder why the rags call us berties. Hughes could have won the leauge and the carling cup, but to the Anti MH brigade it still wouldnt have been good enougth. How sad!
You don't really think that with Hughes we would have had a chance of winning the league this year, I strongly doubt with Hughes we would have beaten the rags at home in the cup, let alone over 2 legs. So before you rewrite history, tell me how a man that was only able to win 4 times away from home in roughly 30 games, would all of a sudden got it right to the point we could have won the league, I'm all ears!

He barely had the ambition to make top 6, never mind top 4. That did for him as much as anything and the owners were entitled to feel aggrieved by this, given the dosh they made available to him to build a team.

Well let's face it......Mancini was brought in to put the cherry on top of the cake, problem is he keeps fecking missing!

Capello - err different league mate

Ancelotti - has adapted well and plays a very modern English style of football

Mancini - defend, defend, sneak a goal, defend like hell, defend, concede coz we can't defend, struggle, game over, move on

Ancelotti has taken over a top 2 side.....hard to go wrong as the players are already there. Capello hasn't managed in the Premiership....I'll reserve judgement on him until the world cup is over though.

We're averaging 2 points a game under Mancini.
