A mediocre manager who's out of his depth may satisfy you mate but some of us have higher aspirations

When you're a manager you sometimes need a little luck, that Scottish twat would have been fired but for a cup run at just the time he was going to be fired, from Hughes, we haven't even had that, poor league form, out of both cups or only real progress has been the UEFA cup and even that has been slightly devalued by the fact that most people expected us to get to the group stage and qualification from the group finished with one of the worst performances ever in Europe.

completely disagree !
You can't disagree with the facts, 22 points after 20 games are 41 points over a season and teams have gone down with that(although your normally safe with 38). Our form is borderline relegation, that's a fact. After that it's all about opinion, my view is watching the team week in week out that they have A lot less idea today than at the start of the season and seeing as we only took 22 points from the 1st half of the year that would be a major worry, but again that part is only my opinion the figures however don't lie.

with his own players we will climb the table and will finish top 8, if he's given time.
Is that really all the improvement you expect from last year´s top 9? After a £90 million investment in the squad (so far)?

i think he has got the makings of a top manager, thats not my point though, i am sick of the chopping and changing of our managers down the years, i am also sick of the negative posts over and over again about our manager and where we might end up.

i know we are not firing on all cylinders, i also fully accept that the owners may make a change, fine, what gets me is just the same old shite posted on here thats doing nothing, absolutly nothing that helps the situation.

if a new guy comes and turns it round brilliant, untill then i support the man.

We've 'chopped and changed' managers down the years because those managers we've had have simply not been good enough and years of mis-management and signing expensive pieces of dung are the exact reason the club has been in the doldrums for so long. The very last thing this club needs right now is another average manager buying average players for big money.

De Niro I have no doubt that Hughes will get us top 8 but that is a million miles from where we want/need to be. We need to be challenging for the title within 3 years and I say that because if we don't win the league with this new found wealth then we never will. We will not achieve that with the current manager and that is the reason he has to go, regardless of current form, position, signings or whether or not we've sacked too many managers in the past. We may need consistency but what we don't need is consistently average (or as he's doing now...consistently shite)

then you both know nothing about football.

If you really think MH will bring us down then you must not have been watching the same team as me this season....this is a transition season for us. Let MH bring in his players, let him get rid of those players not up to the new challenge and if its not too much to ask SUPPORT THE FERkING CLUB! it does my head in that some people on hear would almost like us to get relegated!
