I first heard the happy Mondays played by him many years ago. Reacquainted in recent years on radio 6 music. I love his cynical take on things. Has a love of music and City but doesn't take himself too seriously. He's right up.my street.

Always remember Mark & Lard starting their afternoon slot for radio one after we got promoted at Blackburn. Opened with 'Joe Cocker' Up where we belong. Mixed into the song was the BBC commentary for the goals. Top man.
