Between the league,cup games, Copa Libertadores,Copa America then back to finish Copa Libertadores not much of a break, he might've had a week. All of this and the fact he's in a middle of a transfer to Europe it was a risk for the manager to depend on bringing him back. We can't even definitively say if he's sticking with us or going on loan so the manager wouldn't even know who to ask to release him lol.
