Marseille (a) post match thread

Nice solid performance.

Uninspired centre mid play but later in the game we started to look like City.

Can't put my finger on why the backline looks so solid & really promising on some occasions & total dogshit & hopeless on others.

Almost as if some shit ingredient keeps being added which destroys everything, then we go back to being decent when it's removed.

Can't think what that might be.

Jeez, you have a short memory. The unfaithful but has a good PR team bastard slagged us every single match and even said he hated City and never wanted us to win. It was only when someone had a word in his shell like about his contract not being renewed did he change his tune.
 
Keep playing 5 at the back, we are getting better and better at learning how to beat it.

Leicester (lost) -> West Ham (drew) -> Marseille (won)

Two things.

The efficiency of our press and playing the wrong Eric.
 
That was by far our best performance of the season so far. Our press was fantastic and getting into second balls for the entire 90 mins. We've only seen glimpses of that in games so far this season but tonight we sustained it throughout the game.
I think every player had a good game, KDB man of the match for me, Phil, Gundogan, Rodri, Ruben ect were fantastic.

I must say I love the look of Ruben Dias already, This lad is captain material. Reads the game incredibly well.
