He looks better then garcia in midfield , worth a try in the return leg?

He used to be a holding midfielder, converted to a CB at Bayern .... Better option than Javi Garcia in midfield all day long (Sorry Javi) ....

I remember that he did that in a match from Malaga against Real Madrid which they drew - and he was the best player.

But Barcelona is not a good memory for him. The only match he drew against them was that 1:1 return match in 2009 in Munich - after the 0:4 in Barcelona. With Malaga they always lost by a margin.

Defended well but was far too rash in possession for a player brought in to be good on the ball. A bit too much Neil Warnock stuff when it didn't seem necessary today

Was a main culprite when we were giving the ball away from the 20-30minute period of the game which is the main reason they got into the game (as we actually started very well) and why the game ended up being like it was.

But from then on he defended terrifically well.
