I'd tend to follow what the more successful countries have done in terms of infections, vaccines and protections

I`ll wear a mask out shopping and that`s about it. People I mix with I trust, strangers in Aldi, Asda or Sainsburys I`m less confident about.
I like the fact I can't get away with quietly calling folk cunts in Tesco's and saying / doing things things that would be considered creepy or sexual harrasment without the mask, so it's mask all the way for me

You, and quite a few others, have got hold of the wrong end of the stick regarding this thread.

It's not an anti vaxxer thread, it's asking what will individuals do when all restrictions are lifted (hopefully on July 19th). I have been fully vaccinated since early May and have abided by all restrictions. Once those restrictions are lifted I will be getting on with my life as it was pre Covid. Other may choose to wear a mask or take other precautions permanently. That doesn't bother me or cause any upset whatsoever but I won't be.
Totally agree with that, I couldn't care less if people still want to walk around in space suits,
But as you say I will not be wearing one, once and I hope to god this happens all restrictions are lifted
There are are more things to worry about in life, there really are

I got worryingly close to the end before I realised you were joking.
I wasn't

Our workplace has had a no masks worn outside to be used in the buildings and get a new one when entering work rule since april 2020, so just a practice I used daily used when shoping.

I lived in Asia in my 20s and mask wearing was an option if you wanted to do it and no one cared if you did or didn't.

Don't see the issue if, going forward some choose to continue wearing them when out n about and some choose to ditch them.

The option to "mask up" is now part of our culture and for those that feel it benefits them, let them be free to use them without scorn post covid.

In supermarkets when busy and on the filthy dirty buses we have in this city and trams full of scrotes I will still mask up, possibly at the match at the start or the season if the delta varrient is still active, but in general day to day ĺife though I won't be wearing them.

I probably wont wear a mask unless i have to. Like certain shops insisting on it. But one thing i wont stop is hand sanitising.
Im in and out of customers homes all day and im pretty religious about that now. Before, during and after.

With the briefings from the government increasingly becoming more confident about the ending of all Covid-related restrictions on July 19th how do you feel about this?

Personally, once there is no legal obligation to wear a mask, socially distance or only meet up with a set number of people etc then I will be gladly celebrating our returned freedoms and I won't be taking any precautions from that point onwards. However, there may well be advisories for masks in certain settings and there will be people who will choose to continue to take precautions (maybe permanently).

What will you do?
I will continue to follow the advice of medical experts who obviously know best. Yes, expert opinion/advice is sometimes wrong - but it's the best advice available. And should experts disagree, the emergent best advice would likely reflect the difference of opinion.

I would not - under any circumstance - follow the "opinion" of non-expert personalities whenever such opinion diverges from accepted professional recommendation.
