It has a feel of trail by social media and possibly because what she has evidence wise would not be enough to get a conviction (believe it or not). Seems conclusive but a team of the best lawyers etc. could create the line of not beyond reasonable doubt.

Whether this is because there has been a case which is on-going and she now feel it’s not going the way she wanted or based on legal advice.

Speculation recording etc would make you think not the first time he did this to her that she had the phone probably hidden and ready to record.

The poor girl has been through enough and will have it very hard now. As you can tell by being forced to remove social media. There will be a backlash from some aspect of United fan base blaming her for ruining his career (however the majority of United fans I can see commenting, would want him out of their club)

United statement is fine, I would not expect anything different and clubs are in a very hard position legally within these kind of situations.

The new coach seems a decent enough guy, I would be surprised if Greenwood featured again this season. Longer term without a legal conviction I am unsure.

Which tells you this may have been known about him. Perhaps she's been to the police or United before and nothing was done. She's probably been to the hospital too. Seems like she's been forced to get her own evidence because nobody has listened.

You are correct, not longer after the incident on international duty, he was out "injured" for a long while, twitter was awash with rumours he had been questioned for sexual assault and was laying low.
