Match fixing confirmed (including in England)

The Kartell clubs actually failed to stop us and PSG joining their club, and they don't like it one bit. Why do you think they are working of FFP2, specifically designed to kill the idea of the CFG? You are right though that because City managed to grow fast enough before being stopped by the FFP rules, we in a perverted way profit from FFP. The real loosers are clubs who would like to invest today but cannot. In reality everybody looses though, because football is a sport, sport requires competition, and the big financial inequalities kill the competition and makes everything very boring.

Let's see which way City vote when it comes to the elite clubs getting a bigger share of the Premier League TV income.

That's because of the sheer number of whoppers out there who have nothing better to do than invent conspiracy theories.
How can you not question some of the shit that goes on? Surely you have seen just how many times over the years we have been on the wrong end of decisions whereas on the other hand United were popping in 97th, 98th minute 'Fergie Time' goals to win them titles.

Lots of strange things go on and 90% of the time they seem to favour the same handful of clubs who are apparently the 'successful' ones.

yep, also can someone explain why west ham have been afforded the most wrong decisions, why is the FA/Refs etc targeting west ham ?
It’s not the FA/refs, it’s mafias/organised crime and bookmakers

We were once relegated from the Premier League after having a perfectly good goal against Everton disallowed, who stayed up at our expense.

I could argue that it was some sort of conspiracy to protect the big clubs but it wasn't.

Sometimes you lose because a referee makes a mistake, it happens.

Everton stayed up on the last day one year when the opposition goalkeeper let in all three of Everton's goals in a match fixing scandal

Strange how those mistakes seem to benefit the same old teams.

That's one years ago. We get two or three in every game.

I think it was implied in media reports when it came up that City were in favour of getting more money. I also have the impression that there were quite a number of voices here who were very annoyed/disappointed by that.

you were relegated in 2012 because Stoke were allowed any means necessary to put the ball in the net so you went down.

Subjective means it based on opinion, rather than bias. There are numerous decisions every game where if you ask 5 people you'll get a split of different decisions and that wont change with the introduction of VAR.

You can blame the ref for those games if you want, but still is not evidence of an agenda, just incompetent officials. Personally I'd place more of the blame at Pep in the Liverpool away game and the players in the United game. Sometimes its possible to get beat without the only possible scenario being that the world is out to get you.

Last I checked we were 5th in terms of turnover, ahead of many 'traditional big teams' closing in on Bayern in 4th (I think we will overtake them before 2020). So if you were looking at it as of 5 years ago to now, then the "agenda" has failed its purpose. If you are looking at it presently and moving forwards, we would be part of it. Why is that agenda affecting us negatively?

I know what subjective means.
I also know that it just takes slight bias to change someones opinion as to what is a tackle and what is a foul. I see it with my own eyes week after week where one side's tackles are considered fouls whilst at the same time another sides fouls are considered tackles. The first side is Manchester City , the second is who we playing.
Why does it happen? Are referees just trying to give our opponents a chance? Probably. Or is it more sinister?
The latter choice depends on the game and the context. When it is accompanied by pulling back play for a foul when we have advantage and blatant fouls and penalties are not given, then I am inclined to the more sinister interpretation. Especially when there is far too much money rolling around in football and on football betting.
Quite simply, where there is an excess of money there is corruption. And frankly the football suthorities are doing very little to counter it.
