By previous raggy standards, they are a shadow of themselves. They'll lose nine or ten games this season, you just see if they don't. Ask any honest rag and they'll tell you the same thing. And Owen dismissing City as being "not what they were" this season is wishful thinking gone amok. The little prick made a point based on bullshit and bitterness. Thats the problem, Bob.

We haven't played anywhere near as well as we can this season and you know it. United may be a "shadow of themselves" to you but they are still one of the best teams in the country and in Europe, no matter how terrible some people on here seem to think they are.

As for Owen's opinion, he can't watch every game we play and he can only really base his opinion on the table and the little bits of games he sees. United are currently top so he'll say they're favourites. He'll also be trying to say as many positive things about as many teams as possible just like Kompany did last week. The only difference is that Kompany went about it with more intelligence and minus the stupid moustache that looks like it's been drawn on with the end of a big shit.

Owen also has no reason to be bitter towards City and I still haven't heard any from him.

Didnt watch it but if you expect to hear impartiality from dion (man utd fan) dublin who used to be a big pal of darren fergie if im not mistaken , and michael owen( fergies mate from the horse racing) you will be waiting a long time. Its just more of the same= keeping the utd and liverpool fans happy which is pretty much the template of the show and has been for years.

I just watch it for the highlights of us now and then , usually expecting little or no praise and am rarely surprised.

Whilst I understand you're trying to be impartial Bob, its almost cringey at times, like you're trying too hard. United are not one of the best sides in Europe anymore, as is not most of the Premier League really.. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Juventus are all arguably better, the first four definitely.

Owen is eating out of United's arsehole, just like many of their ex-players tend to do, because otherwise they look out of place. Only Roy Keane has got away with this really, everyone else is too scared to. The big problem for United is they possess no big midfielder to dominate the middle for them, if they did, they'd become better, much better. Domestically, they'll get by, they have 3 goalscorers and a game plan that works, in the latter rounds in Europe it isn't going to work for them imo. They gave away Pogba by not playing him, now he's at Juventus who possess Pirlo, Vidal and Marchishio and yet he still plays.

But come on, some of Bale's play today was as good as you'll ever get from Ronaldo, he even mimics his free kicks, both with shot technique and legs 3 yards one from another :).

Balotelli is talented guy but he never had a game like this one from Bale. Pure, pure class in 4-5 situations. I'll start to think he really wants to move to City as he's usually shit against us :)
