I'm pretty sure they complimented the build up to it. Yes, it would have been nice for Raheem to get it, but I'll take it!I think the pundits tried to make out that being an own goal made it less impressive.

You're right. Some c*nt on Squawka called it a 'stroke of fortune' though.I'm pretty sure they complimented the build up to it. Yes, it would have been nice for Raheem to get it, but I'll take it!
Can't grumble at that, it was an OG.

I wouldn't take any notice of anything Wright or Shearer come out with. Shitehawks, the pair of them. No one minds criticism when it's fair and justified; we're not looking for OTT cheerleaders in the MEDIA, the likes of what the grief merchants and our quiet neighbours have. But some of the lines that are being peddled are just laughable, really. We were excellent last night, albeit against a woeful Hammers' side. But any praise we got off those two (and it wasn't much) was accompanied by how poor West Ham were. Wright is almost a parody of himself now. And what we've done to piss off Shearer, fuck knows.any compliments came through gritted teeth - all Wright was bothered about was how West Ham weren't effective at route 1 football no real coverage of how sublime our passing game was at time from him - Lampard was the most positive unsurprisingly. You can tell Shearer begrudges any of our success with a deep held passion.

And what we've done to piss off Shearer, fuck knows, but we should carry on doing it.
