Could of swore City had a goal disallowed tonight?
And sure MOTD normally show disallowed goals!
But wait this is coverage of City so let's not show things like that hey !
You know that if that was Forest that had it disallowed it would of been a talking point !
It was clearly way offside. They have a maximum of 10 minutes of highlights of each game.

If Forest had scored an offside goal, it would have been shown as they only attacked 2-3 times.

I think the truth lies somewhere in between.

You must be able to train people to score more goals.

You must also get natural goal scorers.
Absolutely bud thats my point. managers like pep can teach players where to go position wise etc but its the players natural skill thats required to score the goal.
Natural skill cant be taught, thats what defines players and great players.

Take little phil for instance..he's come through the academy from a young age yet theres only one Phil Foden..all the other players that came through academy at that time didnt turn out like foden yet had the same teachers..

Thats all I mean bud.

There are people who can be taught and there are people who do it without thinking. A Natural. They don't see it as special as they just know what to do.

Sorry Lineker you're wrong....What Haaland does cant be taught,If it could be then every team would have a Haaland.

What KDB does cant be taught. What Messi does cant be taught, if it could be then how come the person doing the teaching hasnt taught someone else to be another Haaland,KDB or Messi ? Some things are just pure unadulterated skill.
You can 'advise' all players to try this, or that, and they can watch how other players perform, but the bulk of talent, skill, mental strength, are innate. And yer right, if yer could teach players those skills and abilities they'd be copyrighted and on sale at the Rag MegaStore!

Sterling is probably the best example. He’s not a natural goal scorer, but has been taught by Pep and Arteta to be in the right place at the right time and score as many as he can.

A lot of football is instinct, sometimes even at our poor level of playing, we'd run somewhere without thinking and magically the ball would end up where we had moved to.

99% of our play isn’t instinct, but Pep makes players do things instinctively, if that makes sense!

It’s very much playing by numbers, but the numbers keep changing order.

Organised chaos for the opposition!

Absolutely agree with what ur saying about right place at right time.Thats down to Pep,all Im saying is that Haaland is a natural goal scorer and hence why he will( If fit) become our highest ever scorer... Natural cant be taught is what im aluding to..
Players either have it or they dont..Bernado,David Silva are prime examples.

Shearer or Murphy………..Most annoying Twat???
I reckon the idiot that selected the MOTM after we played Huddersfield in the EPL many years ago.
