We were poor yesterday, but on another day one of the Haaland/De B/Foden shots find the bottom corner and we grind out a win.
No sign of these efforts on MOTD though, they had one shot on target and the bastard went in. In a desperate atempt to make Villa look better, they included a Bailey shot that was way off target.
In fairness though, they did point out that our players stoped playing after the whistle, and that Ederson might have saved Coutinho's effort.
Gerrard needs to stop moaning like a bitch, going back to the last game of last season, first thing he did before congratulating us was moan about their keepers 'assault'. Then today about the foul on Ederson when the ball trickled away for a goal kick. Don't think this guy is mature enough to be a premier league manager, talking like he still plays.
 
I remember Lineker once saying that come the end of each season they had a pretty more even split of complaints from fans of all 20 clubs accusing them of being biased against their team.

Tbf they'd have to use a team build up goal which is unlikely as apparently we're boring, as he's not hit a thunderblaster.

I can only assume that this is a joke.

There have been a couple from nice throughballs that he's run onto, but none are close to a GotM contender.

His first goal from open play where he ran through shrugged off two defenders and rolled it past the keeper was an example of the biggest story in the PL transfer news at that time - it showed what he is about and he will just score again and again but they ignore it. If he gets 40 this season are we all going to accept he never scores a contender as he just side foots them in from inside the 6 yd box? Salah has done that for several seasons and is the greatest goals scorer in football we are told and has won GotM a few times by being on the end of a "great team goal". Haaland is in a shirt bearing the wrong crest to win individual recognition - if you don't believe me ask Sergio

Shrugged off 2 defenders? He ran through and placed it past the keeper. There we’re no defenders anywhere near him.

His 3rd Palace goal was better imho, but still not an amazing goal.

The Palace one being the throughball and bouncing a defender? I thought the second vs WHU was neat, but not that special in the bigger picture.

Haaland is a great goal scorer, not a scorer of great goals.

If he scores 75 this season, I doubt we’ll be moaning about which was goal of the season!
 
We're only the second game tonight. Absolutely scandalous. I'm going to pen a strongly worded missive to the editors of the Mirror, Sun, Daily Star, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Times, The Morning Star, The Daily Sport and the Washington Post.
