Lewis is invisible in midfield and loses it too much. Walker continuing his awful season. Swap them around (Walker off). Put Kovacic or Nunes on. Gomez on for Alvarez for one of the wing positions, and move Bernardo centrally as well. Stonesy back to our back 4. We need to create a midfield that we don't have as it stands.

The amount of blues who were content with selling him still bothers me. Idc if he wanted more minutes. He's an academy player whose potential was evident. Pep and Txiki should have made an exception and given him guarantees. All of his underlying numbers are ELITE through his time at Chelsea thus far.

Thats his first goal from play that wasn't a penalty. Wudnt class that as elite

Stones and Lewis are realky struggling against the speed of the Villa press and Alvarez is having a shocker. the trouble is I dont think we have the players on the bench to improve things.

tbh we’ve done well to get to half time without conceding.

get bobb on the wing for alverez and get bernie in midfield .try and get some control

i can’t remember the last time we gave the ball away as much as that in 45 mins. Need to change the shape drastically. players look very very nervy. I’m still going for a win though. Well done to the blues there tonight who are doing their best to get behind the champs.
