Gundogan was our Treble Winning captain who scored numerous goals towards the end of that season and played incredible football, I don't think you can say "He was finished" after he lifted a Treble.

Gundogan is at his best when Rodri is alongside him, Rodri gives Gundogan freedom to dictate games, Now it's not the case.
Fair point

This is quite easy for bournemouth and Pep must see it.

Bournemouth build on a wing (say left wing) with a triangle of 3, then we match them with our RB, RW and RF (Bernie), then they pass it back to the CB, triggering Bernie to press them, quickly get by him and now have 3v2.

Such easy wing play, and awful pressing by us.
Been saying for weeks, the problem is the press, it's completely split in 2. A front 5 and a back 5 leaving the midfield wide open constantly, the front press is half hearted and slow, it's really easy to play against and bypass our insistence on committing to it means one late press, of which there's multiple almost every time and they're clean through at our back line and nobody else is getting back to help. It's horrendous as a one-off yet we're seeing it on a weekly basis.

Fair enough, but you say until we get players back. Who is that exactly, all there is is De bruyne and he is not playing more than a third of this season. So this is it.
Dias, Stones, Grealish, KDB, Savinho, Doku all not on the pitch in the first half and that doesn't include Bobb and Rodri.

So that's six first team players who can make a big impact other than the long term injuries with Rodri and Bobb.
