Brilliant scoreline considering the performance. Same major issue as Madrid with Bernardo vacating the midfield once again. I cannot believe Pep saw that Madrid game and thought, that went well, let's do it again. We have no midfield and it will cost us in the second half if it isnt rectified.
Cherki, Foden and Reijnders have all been abysmal. Not a single chance created between them all, Reijnders making a lot of very good runs but what is the point when we never play him in and when we do there's nobody else moving off him anyway, other than those runs he offers nothing. cherki far too casual again, everything in 1 gear and doing nothing off the ball to help and Foden at least runs but he's been completely anonymous.
Dias has been all over the place at the back, constantly moving out of his position allowing runners off the back of him. He needs to stop chasing balls infront of him, stay in position and prevent the ball in behind. With no midfield to stop the balls being played in behind, and Pep unlikely to change that, we have to match the runs and close the space. They won't keep messing that relatively simple ball up second half.
