Mendy at this rate will be match fit some time in March. Foden also guilty of giving possession away too cheaply.

Foden’s been our worst player, Mendy has made three mistakes but actually done well other than that.

De Bruyne and Foden in particular become non-entities when we had the ball after a certain point. Hopefully half time will help Pep figure out how to get them more usefully involved in moments when we aren't completely on top.

Whoever is stating Mendy has only made one mistake is either blind or woefully ignorant...I've sat watching him(and mahrez) make mistakes over and over. The run into midfield springs instantly to mind where he then gives the ball away only to foul and get away with it...and that was AFTER grabbing Leeds RW earlier on.

Mahrez has to move to left or come off.

there were 2 very good crossing situation where our players looked upp and nobody in the box to cross. They lost the ball instead and attach was dead.

Get players arriving for crosses, thats what all our rivals doing.

Walker very passive going forward, Mendy is more active but not much use of those, as he is not feeling our game, released Sterling too late once, and then the run where Costa tracking back easily ended the attack, Mendy was just not very quick there.

Not much presence within the box unless Sterling decides to take the ball inside and do some moves.

Foden, Mahrez, Torres need to do much better in attacking, more active and more dangerous they need to be.

Mendy has done ok,but his lack of pace is a problem when defending one on one.He needs replacing because of the yellow.

I'm rather thankful of his lack of pace when defending. There's less of a likely pen if he's left trailing in someone's wake.

If you think Mendy has been dreadful in this half then you should give up watching football.

Yeah he made a big intake at the end there which lead to nothing, before that he was brilliant, created a bunch of chances from agressive runs in the middle, helped us play through their press all the time, defended well when he needed to and made a few interceptions.

I dont know why people have to be such utter cunts when it comes to a few players. There are better ways to express your anxiety about only leading 1-0 than just spewing out worthless vitriol about Mendy and Mahrez playing out of position.

Focus on the fact we've seen lots of good things from Mendy today, writing 50 bitter comments because he made a mistake that cost us nothing isn't going to make you feel better.

His contribution with the ball has been encouraging, no doubt. I'm actually more annoyed that he picked up a stupid booking unnecessarily than by that mistake at the end. He's already committed a foul since being booked and looks in real danger of being sent off.
