Shame we couldn't put our superb performance into goals. Hopefully we can force Liverpool into as many as mistakes in the 2nd half, but will be a challenge to contain them as good as we have been for 45 more minutes

If we don't score here , thie week we will have dominated 3 of the 5 best sides in the world and only scored 1 deflected goal.

Genuinely just tell everyone to shoot first time in the box and the goals would go in. The thing we are missing isn't a number 9, its just the mentality to get shots on target early that a 9 has.

Our football is very beautiful i must say. i struggle watching other teams without getting bored thats how good our play is

Slagged Cancelo off many times but he has started this season on fire, outstanding again today, and Ederson, I would pay just to watch that man alone, he is magnificent on the ball

We absolutely dominated them. Aside from the first 10 minutes, we had them on the ropes throughout. Salah was the invisible man. Anfield was silent. And yet, just like against PSG, we have absolutely nothing to show for it.

I think we’ve been excellent in the first half. Cancelo, Bernardo, Dias, Laporte and Foden have been great. KDB strangely out of sorts. If he had been playing his normal game we‘d be at least two up by now.

That pass by Eddie was outrageous!

Predictably out of sorts,he looked fucked in the last couple of games.

Battering them but need a goal. Kevin and Grealish both look knackered.

Milner's foul on Foden wasn't a penalty simply because it was outside the box, but it was still a denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity and it should have at least been looked at by VAR for a potential red.

Klopp will now replace him with Gomez immediately after half-time and they'll shore themselves up for the second half.

Liverpool's problems in that half came from a lack of movement and energy with the ball in midfield, though. Milner, Henderson, and Fabinho all moving far too slowly. Rodri has got all the time in the world.

So I don't see why things will suddenly change for us, barring some freak incident or the world's best half-time speech from Klopp.

A proper striker up top for us and this game would be done and dusted at HT surely pep and the club can see thats what is needed …
