Dunno if I'm being hypercritical or not, but I always think Pellegrini looks like a rabbit in the headlights in these situations. Always looks impotent. Fair play to Liverpool so far, they've played really well. We've not turned up yet but got better towards the end of the half. As others have already mentioned I'd hook Navas for Milner. In fact, I was gobsmacked Milner didn't start for Navas. Given how Liverpool play I thought it madness starting off with Navas, Silva and Nasri.

Also, how no one has gone through Sterling yet and took a yellow for the team is beyond me. I'd also be going after Suarez seeing as he's on a yellow already. Then again, it's probably as well I'm neither a player or a manager :)

Say what you want about Mourinho but more often that not he knows how to get the job done in these type of games. Its frustrating as fuck as its obvious as midfield four of Navas, Yaya, Fern and nasri is going to get blown away by liverpool.

Hope nasri pisses of in the summer to many games like today.

The way we came out was fucking disgraceful. Everyone knows liverpool come out fast. We were set up wrong and got hammered. I have to say the Hart should have done one thing or the other but got stuck in no mans land which made the first easier and Vinny has to take some blame for the second. The problem is we have ceded the centre of the pitch due to our formation and it makes it much easier for liverpool to play.

I have no faith that Pellegrini can do anything tactically to resolve this so we need some big performances from the team if we are to turn this around.

Navas is not the player for today and neither is Clichy.

Find it incredible that we looke totally unprepared for the game, what do the players and management do all week?
