Pellegrini played the team everyone (including Liverpool) expected us to play. Nasri was not the right man for this game. He's too slow and contributes nothing defensively.

Pellegrini is simply not flexible enough tactically and he is too old to change now.

Dzeko having a stormer.

TBH did NOT think he played bad at all....actually has looked very dangrerous...but, automatic pick for blame as usual I guess.
Well I'm shocked you're defending him as you can imagine.

But this time you are correct, he's not done too much wrong.

Still think we need Agueros pace early doors.

Javi Garcia influenced the game when Toure came off.

Toure is a weakness in our system, he IS chaos. He should have started behind the striker.

Everything I feared happened today, we started with a two man midfield and "passenger" Nasri on the left. You know you're in for a distaster.

That cheap Skrtel goal killed the game, I don;t think we can back into it now.

I think we're going to get a result here.

Liverpool seem to be full of piss and vinegar and it is burning them out as the half went on.

I don't think that there was anything tactically wrong with the exception of not putting 3 in midfield but this is my bias on how I think footy should be played and Pellegrini doesn't play that way.

It's a concern that our two midfielders are both on bookings but we've grown into the game in the last 15 minutes after a frankly stunning start from Liverpool. Yaya is obviously a miss and I still think we're saving a sub for Kompany as he does seem to be playing within himself with his injury.

If you look at the reality in the cold light of day and remove all emotion, they scored from a defensive error and a set piece whilst City had one cleared off the line and two great saves from their keeper.

Liverpool have peaked and City have much more to come. Despite this, we shot ourselves in the foot rather than getting battered like we did against Bayern.

If we get an early goal here, we could even win this.

Nice bit of impartiality from Sky as ever... two ex Liverpool players and Niall Quinn who fucking hates us.

Milner on for Nasri, shore up the midfield first, they look like they could score more on the break.

But mainly it's about character and leadership and each player improving their performance.

We have just reverted back to our away day shite nothing more which has been questionable all year

We needed legs today and some players on the pitch that can put themselves about. Milner should have started and the whole team seemed to be unprepared in so far as they have not and did not match pool

Blame whomever you want simply put we aint good enough nor have we been good enough
This. Except for the Milner part. He wouldn't have made much of a difference. They just buzzed us like they have everyone this season. We needed to match their energy but didn't.
Questionable all year?

We've not lost away since November. Ten games unbeaten. 7 wins and three draws.

Even i said the first half would go like that, they start fast and we were not ready, why not?

Because clearly he is more interested in doing heavy training sessions the day before.
Sorry but the team along with Pellegrini take the blame for this shit
You're not going to carry on like this are you?

Please don't.

We need to stick together

We are in it together mate.Shame the players look shit scared

were getting ruined by hendenson gerrard sterling and coutinho, these players a shite compared to ours, faults lie tactically. Dzeko is playing alright for me but when were under pressure I just know he'll have a shit first touch when we need something good, milner should of started instead of nasri today hes been awful, fernandinhos had a bad game aswell, i can see aguero coming on and getting injured its not our day, if rodgers can win the league with that team then questions need to be asked, they trust sterling to do that job and hes advancing rapidly, on the contrast lopes cant even get on the bench
