Good half, gundo seems well off the pace though, think were missing a trick with Foden on the right and Grealish on the left
Good half?! Jesus our expectations at Anfield really are dogshit in our support. Lesser teams than us have ripped them apart this season but our players are bottling it cause of a fucking crowd.

I think Foden passing back is tactical. As on the right, the ball goes forward even if possession is lost.

I still think Pep should take the handbrake off and switch to the normal formation that has allowed the lads to score goals this season. Fuck it, if they score, the lads will score. I know he’s worried about the counter but they had a few diagonal balls that caused trouble in that half. Might as well let Cancelo go back to the left. He works so well with Phil.

Quick, scrappy, end-to-end suits the dippers fine. No way they want the ball on the ground in the middle. Their best hope is to force a stupid mistake so this suits them fine - we need to play our way instead of theirs. Milner clearly there just to physically dominate foden.
