He plays without fear. I’m afraid to say that even with how good our team is, far too often we go there and play with fear. We’re too scared to express ourselves in case we give the ball away and have them counter attack us, which makes us give the ball away and they counter attack us anyway.

Just grow a pair and play like Bernardo and we’d twat these!
Agreed

First 30 minutes we played their game and it was frantic. Last 15 we settled down and controlled it more.

Disappointing half from us. We've looked a bit nervous and are making some bad decisions, particularly in the final third.

Not on any of the breaks has Erling looked to get behind Gomez or Van Dijk?? Like he doesn't fancy himself in a race
He has made many, many runs behind but he has been ignored almost every time.

Ilkay is the number one offender; two examples alone in the last ten minutes where Erling made great runs on the shoulder and Ilkay put his boot on the ball and passed backward.

Any time we break we stop and pass back
It’s how we always play against teams that are good on the counter. We play the same against Utd, Spurs, Palace etc. We always play slower than normal so that our players don’t get stretched out too much and we are supposed to pass, pass, pass until we get into their half as a unit. Pep always says if we attack too fast, they just attack us back even faster. Don’t really know if it’s the right approach or not but if Pep thinks it is, then that’s fine by me. The players just need to do it better once we get in their half.

Very even game with few chances. Compared to last few years games we don't have the same control as playing with a false 9 against them has worked great.
