Match Thread | Man City vs Aston Villa (22/05/22)

Meh! There is no miracle here. We are a superior team. The defense has conceded the fewest in the league.

He should stop tinkering under pressure. It has become a trend with him.

It's fucking tiring.
Spot on,the delusionals making excuses for poor management.

45 minutes to define our season.

Handing Liverpool a quadruple is actually sickening stuff, but it's what we deserve if we can't beat fucking Villa at home on the last day of the season.

Plenty of time to sort it out and still win here, but changes needed from the off, not after 75 minutes of spaffing crosses at the first man.

This team has a soft underbelly far too often when the going gets tough - i've said it before and i'll say it again, the policy of buying 'good guys' has let us down at times like this. We need an injection of cunts that grab a game by the scruff of the neck. I'm hoping Haaland is the starting point of that.

I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but Grealish needs to come in

Absolutely fucking pathetic from 1 to eleven. A complete team of bottlers in that half, can't describe how pissed off I'm feeling after watching that. 45 mins now of quick tempo football, not half arsed pace
sadly becoming fat too frequent in the very big games and lets not kid ourselves, we only play about 6 top games a season, the rest of the time we win in second gear

If Pep doesn’t replace Fern here, we will lose this match and lose the title, over to you Pep… we know he’s not big on subs but come on Pep , it’s crying out for changes here at half time.. get Gundo on too while you’re at it

There is absolutely zero chance that Liverpool don’t win after going in at HT and seeing our score. So we’re at least 2 goals short of the title, but how confident can we be that Pep actually takes Fernandinho off? If he doesn’t, Villa haven’t finished their goalscoring today.
