Great goal by Phil , hope Southgate is watching and doesnt play f*cking Mount or Saka before him , because neither of them could score a goal like that.
Still a really poor first half , not one players is playing anywhere near their potential , Laporte at fault for the goal he hardly got off the ground for that header and and none of the other defenders covering themsleves in glory , every lofted ball forward by Brentford and they are winning every duel. Get Dias on to sort the back four out.
Pep to rip into the rest of them , they are playing like they only have to turn up to win the game

The ref has no business being on a football pitch. Although the fix clearly runs much deeper than just him, when you look at all the VAR checks that come back negative.

We have not played at all well, but the officiating has been beyond abysmal.

We’ve got away with that so far.

This defence not being able to win a header is becoming a major problem. We have 3CBs on the pitch most weekends and not one of the fuckers can head a fucking football. In possession Akanji and Stones have been dump. No way on earth is Stones a RB. He can get away with it against sides that no attacking thoughts, but he is all over the show against anyone who gives it a go.

Gundo needs to come off. Yet another game that is completely bypassing him. Get Bernie in the middle and Alvarez wide right.
