The ref has no business being on a football pitch. Although the fix clearly runs much deeper than just him, when you look at all the VAR checks that come back negative.

We have not played at all well, but the officiating has been beyond abysmal.
what VAR decision were you upset with?

For all the nonsense from the ref today though we’ve been shit today. Very lethargic performance so far and lucky to go in level at half time.

Can’t believe we started with Rodri and Gundogan given how knackered they looked in the week.

Not starting Grealish was a big mistake - again - and he should be on at half time. We need to run at them in the second half.

Don’t like Bernado on the wing - just takes one of our best players completely out of the game.

Akanji and Stones have been awful defensively and need a rocket up them.

I can never understand that. It’s a waste of a player.

It’s fukin stupid! It does absolutely fuck all except put us a man down

Statistics prove goals are overwhelmingly more likely to come from short corners.

So City use short corners and score more goals than anyone else from corners, even accounting for the extra amount of corners we get.

Even when you don’t use short corners, having someone available to take one pulls a man out of the box which makes normal corners more effective.

The club spends millions a year on the best coaching staff in the world to be guided by the best analysts and if they do something it’s because it works.
