Starting to see that Rodri sized hole in midfield now. Missing Bernardos workrate too.

Some of the lads still aren't up to speed, Stones has been way off it.

Brentford deserve credit though, been knocking the ball around us for fun. Lucky to be in front.

Walkers winning by a country mile

?? Stones gifted the goal, gifted the ball 3 times to dangerous counterattacks, had bad positioning allowing the clearest chance they had (the one Rico saved us). How can anyone say that?

Well, this was the first match for Stones, Walker, Gundo, and Grealish. So a bit of shakiness was to be expected, but fortunately we turned the game around. Obviously, the opponent is dangerous, so we need to be careful in the second half.

Wissa going off is a huge blow for Brentford. He was causing Stones all sorts of trouble.

Walker's had a mare.

I expect a couple of tweaks and we should be ok

I’d bring Rodri on for Kova especially as he’s been booked now. Too much coming through midfield. Walker and John Boy have been awful but they won’t shake rustiness off without playing. Looking at the long run we need to keep them on really and assume they’ll play themselves into form. Plenty of options if needed. Probably the best bench ever in club football
