"The on field referee felt McCarthy got a touch on the ball and the VAR didn't see evidence to counteract that".

So they're admitting that if Moss had done his job and given a penalty, they'd have confirmed it, and that the referees are completely not fit for purpose because it literally doesn't fucking matter if you get a tiny touch on the ball but wipe out the forward!
That’s where if Foden goes down and rolls around screaming he gets the decision in our favour
 
I've never seen a more blatant display of corruption. The lads seem to have caught wind of what they are up against and stepped up a gear.
 
Despite the score, this is the worst we’ve played since the early part of the season. We’ve had very little controlled possession in the game. Southampton will be disappointed because, aside from their defensive errors, they’ve played better. The difference is that they were unable to convert the chances we gifted to them.

This game is not over. We need to improve in the second half and cut out the brainless errors committed by our fullbacks.
