Some dodgy decisions in this game. The challenge on Foden still looks to be a clear penalty to me. If he goes down then a penalty is almost certainly given.

Their penalty looks extremely soft.

I've just watched the Foden incident again. It's as clear a penalty as you'll ever see. Never mind this not going against the onfield referee, var is SUPPOSED to be there to right wrong decisions otherwise it's utterly pointless.

Strange half. The 3-1 in some ways flatters us as Southampton have played well but in anther way we could and probably should have had 2 penalties and the scoreline could be more in our favour.

We don't seem to be on our game really though and nobody has really played that well. I'd prefer to see KDB further forward and Bernardo dropping into his usual midfield position. It would give us Bernardo's energy in the middle and would allow KDB a more free role to do what he does best.

Fernandinho seems to be struggling a bit and I'd perhaps bring Rodri on for him.

Some very strange decisions in this game. All going against us.

Phil had his foot taken away with a wild challenge that not only a pen it’s a red card - WTF is going on ? They can spend 20 minutes rewatching an offside but they didn’t look at that properly at all.

The Piers Morgan of commentary. Calls it the way he sees it. Just called referees “cheats” - “they back each other up, the ref didnt give it so his mate didn’t give it, but it was a clear penalty “
