Played ok against a packed defence-keep patient and the space will come.

We need a Rodri, a Mahrez or a KDB to rifle one into the far corner from outside the box. If we kept trying that tonight someone will get one in.

One thing I struggle to understand is what exactly do teams like Sparta hope to achieve playing a 5-4-1. They conceded inside 3 minutes so clearly they’re not that good at it. They are no threat at all in attack so is it just about keeping the score down ? If they lose 1-0 or 5-0 they still leave with the same number of points.

Probably not going to be popular but our biggest problems with creating are Gundogan and Lewis. Nothing much on the bench to change it though.
