Jovetic seems to limit himself to horizontal runs which isn't testing their defense at all. Maybe if he could make a couple vertical or diagonal moves it would create some space?

It would certainly surprise a few if he made one or two vertical moves.

Sorry but our corners are an absolute disgrace. When struggling to break teams down they offer a great chance and not to beat the 1st man time and time again, especially with players at our level is not on. And again we pick up a yellow with a team breaking from our own corner. Our corners are more threat to us than the opposition. Cant the players and management see what a disgrace the set pieces are

Gassy Poyet is doing today what he does best, bring in his bus. We could really use Aguero right now, but Yaya is also good at breaking these teams down. I would move him up on the pitch, take off Jovetic and bring on Lamps.

Exactly what we need, Lampard gets in better positions to shoot from distance as well.
