Must hit them down both flanks to open the game up. Would bring Kolarov on to whip in those crosses.

Possession: 68-32 in favour of City
Fouls committed: City 9 Sunderland 3

In other words, same as every week. I believe we were the least fouled club in the league as of a few weeks ago. And we have to be at the top of the possession stats for the season as a whole.

Whether through refs being bent or holding us to higher standards or whatever - this is just appalling.

We play a high line meaning we are vulnerable to the counter so have to win the ball back quickly by fair means or foul as soon as we lose it. That's why we get pulled up a lot because we foul a lot the second we lose possession. Watch us do it in the second half.

True, but why are we the least fouled club in the league? That is the part that really does not compute.

Just watched both "penalties" for Liverpool...

This league is bent.

Erm has been for some time.

So now the Premiership AND the CL is bent. Is anything fair?

Did we cheat our way to two titles in three years?

Bizarre.

Perhaps we would have walked it if we hadn't been so handicapped?

And I have been arguing that for quite some time but up until recently I was always told I was a "conspiracy theorist" that didn't understand "that everything balances in the end."

I'm just pointing out how obvious it has become and how anyone could argue against it.

The longer it stays 0.0 the deeper Sunderland will dig in. Jovetic off and Milner on. Sunderland have come with no ambition whatsoever and would be over the moon with a point. We need to us the tempo and make sure our final ball is no the money.

Milner coming on would provide nothing more when they have 8 men in the box defending. Need done magic from yaya or someone else. Milner offers more huff and puff when we don't really need it now.

Bizarre.

Those who attempt to cheat aren't always successful. And FFP was round two.

Round three to come.

Gassy Poyet is doing today what he does best, bring in his bus. We could really use Aguero right now, but Yaya is also good at breaking these teams down. I would move him up on the pitch, take off Jovetic and bring on Lamps.
