Mahrez is not the problem. It's the fact there is no one within 20 yards of him when he receives the ball. We have absolutely nothing in the inside right channel and no one over lapping Mahrez. Swapping Foden for Mahrez will not make any difference.
What is the point of overlapping Mahrez when all he ever wants to do is pass back to Walker? He is the most negative, risk-averse forward I’ve ever seen. He should watch the KDB vid from before the game, where he talks about having 96% pass completion stats but doing fuck all with it. That’s Mahrez in a nutshell.
 
Dancing around on the pitch after the match v Arsenal last week, like the title was won. Should have clapped the crowd and gone straight off down the tunnel. Been flat in the 2 games since and need more in the 2nd half otherwise we are back in an unpleasant, cheek wobbling title race
 
Both wingers kept the ball far too long, got to pass it first time to the runner to unlock tight defence though.
