lovely idea but I have seen many many times when we've been stitched up. take it whilst its there, believe me it doesn't happen often.

We are too good for them. Felt bad for the defender who "conceded" the penalty but this and I seem to remember one mistake in the last game too is not really enough against a consistent pattern of City being on the wrong end of them. I'd be happy if this is the start of things "evening out eventually" but we've a mountain more to come before we can say that.

Sterling should have told the referee that it wasn’t a penalty. Really poor all round from Sterling, the referee and the officials.

The paronoia about uefa hating city seems to be disproven

The ref wouldn't have changed his mind, similar thing happened in the PL a few seasons back, player told the ref it wasn't a pen but the ref stuck with his decision. VAR of course would have reversed the decision.

It's not up to Pep though .... I still say Raz should've immediately told the ref "No", if he had anything about him at all.
