We are too good for them. Felt bad for the defender who "conceded" the penalty but this and I seem to remember one mistake in the last game too is not really enough against a consistent pattern of City being on the wrong end of them. I'd be happy if this is the start of things "evening out eventually" but we've a mountain more to come before we can say that.
 
Got to say when Gabby is given his chance by pep he ain't covering himself in any glory...a million miles away from where he needs to be at the moment...so so hope he can sort his confidence head out
 
Sterling should have told the referee that it wasn’t a penalty. Really poor all round from Sterling, the referee and the officials.

The paronoia about uefa hating city seems to be disproven
The ref wouldn't have changed his mind, similar thing happened in the PL a few seasons back, player told the ref it wasn't a pen but the ref stuck with his decision. VAR of course would have reversed the decision.
