Very easy first half. Fernandinho brilliant again. Merlin at his magic best. Very impressed with Zinchenko. We have been a little sloppy with some of our passing and Jesus has been a bit wasteful in front of goal. Conserving energy well for the weekend. Everything going to plan.

Sterling should have told the referee that it wasn’t a penalty. Really poor all round from Sterling, the referee and the officials.

The paronoia about uefa hating city seems to be disproven
Bollocks. No cûnt from Liverpool decided to tell the ref that they fouled Sterling in the knock outs last season.

One solution, VAR in all games. Until them, fuck them, let’s take some smooth to go with the usual rough.

Maybe but once a penalty is given it’s given. We should have just rolled it to the keeper though. Given all the officials matches have nowadays that was the most shocking decision I’ve ever seen. But football is a fast game, officials don’t have multi camera replays and are just human

This forum would burn down if something like that went against us. We need VAR.

Maybe Jesus was trying to do just that. Little else is coming off for him. ;-)

Bit worried about Jesus' form, his lack of confidence in-front of goal is visible now. Needs to shake it off a.s.a.p.

I think we will let them have a goal - seriously

So do I, they will see the replay at half time and realise that we don't need this type of shit on top of everything else this week.

We should kick off and run the ball straight back into our own net or allow them to just walk through us.
