Our tactic is primarily keep the ball at all costs so they cannot hurt us with it . It will not work for 90 minutes and we seem to lack ambition but I’d it stays at 2-1 it’s not too bad .

Big difference this season for me regarding erling is last season he was dropping into midfield to create for others, all action like a bull.
This season just stays upfront.

We are so painful to watch at times. I get we need to be careful of their pace but we are giving it back to them anyway passing it at snails pace. The reluctance to have a crack or pass it quicker is frustrating. They look vulnerable at the back

Why make it an end to end game, given their pace up front? Would be daft.

They have had plenty of chances on the counter tbf, all 3 goals were fortunate but Madrid have been far more dangerous.

We are struggling and possession stats masking it. Our control isn’t real and our threat is non-existent really. That said that’s one of our worst halves of the season.
